Since my arrival at St. Paul a little over twelve years ago, I've been impressed with the collective spirit of our congregation. That spirit is many things:
Spirit of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ. We know that we don't own the Gospel but are here to share it. Every week members of St. Paul drop off guest bags or visit guests who worshiped with us. We participate in two or three short term mission trips a year.
Spirit of friendliness. Guests who share their contact information receive a survey asking about their worship experience. We consistently read that we are a friendly church.
The spirit of recognizing that church is not about us. We have a history of reaching out to others with worship services, concerts, VBS, and community events.
We recognize the power of the Holy Spirit who brings us to faith and strengthens it. We have always gone to God in prayer seeking His direction for our congregation. He has directed us to reach the lost.
We now have an opportunity to change our campus to be an asset to ministry, easily navigable, user friendly. Young and old alike will benefit for generations to come.
As your Senior Pastor, I invite you to be part of this exciting journey. I invite you to join your fellow members in Living the Great Commission.
